Abstract

There are many production factors that can affect oil palm production. Rainfall is one of the production factors that is difficult to control and is also one of the main factors in the metabolism of oil palm plants. This study aims to determine the correlation of rainfall to oil palm production in the Sei Pudu Area, PT Uni Primacom Plantation, Central Kalimantan. This research was conducted from September 2021 to December 2021. The data needed in this research is rainfall data and production of Sei Pudu Area baskets from 2015 to 2020. In this study using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis, where rainfall is the independent variable and production is the dependent variable. The results of the correlation analysis show that the relationship between rainfall and oil palm production 2015- 2020 has a positive relationship and a very weak interpretation in the anthesis, sensitive abortion and fruit ripening phases. Then from the final results of the correlation hypothesis test with 5% alpha (Sig < α 0.05) is that there is no significant relationship between rainfall and oil palm production at PT Uni Primacom, Central Kalimantan.
