Abstract

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is a commodity that has an important role because it is included in the basic ingredients for oil production, but currently its productivity has decreased due to decreased soil fertility. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of giving goat urine Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the growth of Simalungun varieties of main nursery oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq). The research was conducted from August to November 2022 at the Jember State Polytechnic research area. which is located at Jl. Mastrip, Krajan Timur, Kec. Sumbersari, Jember Regency, East Java. The method used was a nonfactorial randomized block design with 3 replications and had 9 treatments namely P0 (control), P1(20 ml/L), P2(40ml/L), P3(60ml/L), P4(80ml/L), P5 (100ml/L), P6 (120ml/L), P7 (140ml/L), P8 (160ml/L). The results showed that the administration of goat urine liquid organic fertilizer showed no significant effect on all parameters.
