Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of freezing temperature on eggs of Corcyra chepalonica Stainton on parasitization and development of Trichogramma japonicum Ashm. Semboro PTPN XI (Persero). This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 6 replications, namely room temperature 28⁰ C, freezing temperature -2⁰ C, freezing temperature -3⁰ C, freezing temperature -4⁰ C, freezing temperature -5⁰ C, freezing temperature -6⁰ C. The research data were analyzed using ANOVA, if the results showed a real effect on eating, the LSD further test at 5% level was carried out. The parameters used were the percentage of parasitization, the percentage of imago emergence, the development time of the parasitoid. The results showed that the treatment with freezing temperature on Corcyra chepalonica Stainton eggs had a very significant effect on the percentage of parasitization of Trichogramma japonicum Ashm. and had a very significant effect on the emergence of imago, but had no significant effect on the development time of the parasitoid.
