Abstract

Storage room for medical record in the General Hospital dr. Soedomo Trenggalek is not yet ergonomic. The existing medical record shelves are not in accordance with the staff's anthropometry and the number of medical record files so that with the current size of the shelves it can take up a lot of space and make the room cramped, many medical records are stored in cardboard boxes due to full shelves, chairs and the work table used by officers is less ergonomic so that many officers complain of back pain while working. This has an impact on the comfort of officers, with a room like that work becomes inefficient. The purpose of this study was to analyze the situation and redesign space filling with an ergonomic approach at the General Hospital dr. Soedomo Trenggalek. The results of this study indicate that the condition of the room is inadequate, the number of medical record racks is disproportionate to the number of files and the chairs and work desks are not in accordance with the officer's anthropometry. Researchers visualize in the form of an ergonomic design of medical record racks, desks, work chairs and filling spaces. The conclusion of this study is the design of a new room with an area of 52 m², the design of medical record racks, work tables and chairs in accordance with the officer's anthropometry.
