Abstract

This research focuses on creating a user-friendly and efficient warehouse inventory application. The goal is to develop a system that can record and manage incoming and outgoing goods effectively. As stated by Rangkuti in his book, inventories are assets that include goods belonging to companies that are intended to be sold within a certain operating period. This also includes goods that are still being worked on or in the production process, as well as raw material inventories waiting to be used in a production process (Rangkuti, 2004). To achieve this goal, the Merge sorting method is used in application development. By leveraging Merge sorting, the application streamlines data sorting, making warehouse inventory recording and management more seamless. This application is developed using Visual Studio Code and is web-based to ensure ease of use from anywhere. Apart from that, this application offers various features such as item search, report generation, and stock management. These features improve efficiency and accuracy in the inventory process. The application aims to improve the accessibility and reliability of information regarding incoming and outgoing goods from the warehouse. The findings from this study are expected to make a positive contribution to warehouse inventory management and also be able to meet the deficiencies of what the owner needs in this application
