Abstract

Production TSS in the lowland area is beneficial as most of the shallot production centers in the lowland. This research was aimed to increase the quality of TSS in the lowlandarea. The experiment did in the lowland of Subang (100 masl). The experiment wasused Factorial Completely Random Block Design with four replications. The first factor was Phosphorous doses on P2O5(0, 100, 200, 300, 400 kgha-1) and the second factor was Potassium doses on K2O (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kgha-1). The results showed a dose of 400 kg P2O5ha-1increased seed germination, vigor index,and maximum growth potential of TSS. K fertilizer does not affect all flowering parameters except a numberof flowers per plant and percentage of capsule set. A dose of 50 kg K2O ha-1 increased the number of flowers per plant reached 70.9 buds and 200 kg K2O ha-1increased the percentage of capsule set until 54.82%. combination of dose 400 kg P2O5ha-1and 200 kg K2O ha-1increased 74.7% seed germination, and vigor index until 92%, and the dose of 200 kg P2O5ha-1increased 64% maximum growth potential.
