Abstract

The medical record unit at Cermee Public Health Center still does not qualify ergonomic aspects. This causes discomfort for the personnel while working and restricts their freedom of movement. The purpose of this research does to analyze and design the medical record workspace in an ergonomic manner at Cermee Public Health Center in Bondowoso Regency. This research employs a qualitative research design, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, documentation, measurement and brainstorming. The subjects of this research consist of 5 informants, including 1 health center head and 4 medical record personnel. The result of this research is an ergonomic workstation chair design that has been adjusted to the anthropometry of the personnel with seat base width = 40.61 cm, seat back width = 45.8 cm, seat back height = 63.34 cm, headrest height = 29.66 cm, seat pad length = 46.3 cm, seat height = 53.36 cm – 57.8 cm, armrest height = 25.18 cm and armrest length = 49.75 cm. The design of ergonomic work desks that have been adjusted to the anthropometry of the personnel with table length = 138.64 cm, table width = 64.4 cm and table height = 74.68 cm. The design of ergonomic storage shelves that have been adjusted to the anthropometry of the personnel with a shelf height = 180.56 cm and a distance between shelves = 45.8 cm. The calculation of the future 5-year storage shelf requirement is a total of 4 units of Roll o'Pack. Public Health Center is expected to implement the design of the new medical record workspace with a room area of 10.5 m x 6 m has been adjusted to the medical record processing flow.
