Abstract
The medical record room in Kaliwates Hospital has not fulfilled the ergonomics aspect because the room was separate from the registration measuring 9m x 5m, the medical record officer's workspace measures 8m x 4m, and the filling room is stuffy and narrow with a size of 6m x 4m consisting of 3 sub rooms. The arrangement of facilities and infrastructure was also appropriate where the distance was too close, making officers free less when moving. The purpose of this study was to revitalize the ergonomic design of the workspace of the medical record unit at Kaliwates Hospital. The method used was qualitative data with collection techniques through observation, interviews, and brainstorming with 6 informants, namely the head of medical records, 2 filing officers, 2 registration officers, and 1 reporting officer. The results showed the need for a new design for the medical records works unit space that adjusted to the standard SketchUp Pro 2023 application with ergonomic aspects. The new design medical records work unit space for registration is 12m x 11m, the medical records officer's workspace is 9,45m x 6,5m, filing is 17,65m x 6,5m, and the toilet is 3,25m x 6,5m. Infrastructure that is not yet ergonomic includes work tables, shelves, and work chairs designed to adjust officers' anthropometry with the addition of 11 storage shelves, 1 LCD queue, 1 counter, 2 tables, 2 chairs, 3 computers, and 3 printers. The physical environment of the room is not up to standard.
