Abstract

This study aims to develop a fraud detection information system for the E-Procurement application at PDAM Madiun. E-Procurement is an electronic means used for the procurement of goods and services, intending to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process. This study uses the heuristic miner algorithm to detect fraud or cheating in the procurement of goods and services information systems. The method used in this study is to analyze the Event Log generated by recording each employee activity involved in the process of procuring goods and services in the PDAM Madiun E-Procurement information system. By using the heuristic miner algorithm, fraud or fraud can be detected through the anomaly patterns found in the Event Log. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the security and integrity of information systems for the procurement of goods and services at PDAM Madiun. With an effective fraud detection information system, PDAM Madiun can be more proactive in preventing and following up on fraudulent actions that may occur in the procurement process.
