Abstract
The business in the agro-industrial sector that has potential prospects for development is the banana chips agro-industry business. UD. Diana Ayu is a business engaged in the production of snacks or souvenirs typical of Banyuwangi which produces output products such as banana chips, cassava chips, taro chips and banana sales. Banana chips are the most popular product compared to other products that require UD. Diana Ayu to pay attention and improve the quality of their products. This study aims to analyze product quality control, analyze the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and determine the factors that influence product defects. Based on the results of research conducted 20 times it is known that in the application of the np control chart there are points that are outside the control limits on the integrity attribute there are 6 points, the color uniformity attribute is 4 points and the cleanliness attribute is 3 points. The ability of the production process at UD. Diana Ayu on each attribute successively wholeness, color uniformity and cleanliness, namely 90.3%, 93.1% and 96.7% with the highest frequency of defects, namely the integrity attribute caused by human factors, methods and machines or tools.
