Abstract
PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Ngrangkah Pawon is a coffee production company engaged in agribusiness and agri-industry owned by a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) located in Kediri. The coffee processing process at PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII Ngrangkah Pawon is divided into several parts, one of which is the grinding process with the machine used in the form of a huller machine. Machines that are often used for the production process will often experience breakdowns so that they can hamper the production process. This study discusses the distribution of breakdown frequencies where the breakdown time on machines is difficult to predict. Calculation of repair maintenance and preventive maintenance costs is done by comparing the two policies in 3 years so that the most optimal value is obtained for the huller machine. From the results of a comparison of the two policies, the most optimal policy is obtained, namely by using a repair maintenance policy with the cheapest maintenance costs for 2020, it is recommended that repair maintenance costs Rp. 436.741, for 2021 the cost of repair maintenance is Rp. 297.687 and the cost of repair maintenance in 2022 is Rp. 544.382.
