Abstract

Based on the preliminary study it is known that in the process of implementing the HIV AIDS Information System (SIHA) there are still obstacles, namely there is still duplication of data on HIV positive sufferers, the online reporting process often occurs server disruptions, menus and items in the system there are still additions and readjustments to the needs of users . The method used in this research is PIECES (Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service) and the type of qualitative research. This research was conducted at the Jember District Health Office by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation to SIHA users. This study aims to explore the performance of SIHA on 6 aspects of PIECES, namely performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, and service. Using the triangulation of techniques and sources, results and discussion, as well as suggestions have been given to improve the performance of SIHA based on aspects of performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, and service. The research results obtained information that the performance of SIHA based on the aspects performance of SIHA performance requires adjustments to the needs of users, the aspect information resulting information is still inaccurate, the aspect economic has produced economic value, the aspect is control current related to system control and security, the aspect efficiency has provided efficiency in its application. , the aspect service has made it easy for system users. Although the overall performance of SIHA runs according to user needs, there are still problems based on the PIECES method so that it is necessary to make improvements and development of SIHA through recommendations from researchers so that SIHA can produce good quality information according to user needs to improve service quality.
