Abstract
The go-kart buggy is an innovative product of engineering students at the Jember State Polytechnic in the form of an electric vehicle. Occupational health and safety is an important factor in doing work because it can support the comfort and performance of workers. This study aims to determine the effect of occupational health and safety on the performance of the go-kart buggy manufacturing team. The population in this study numbered 30 members using a total sampling technique. This research method uses quantitative descriptive. Tools or instruments used in collecting questionnaires. The design of this research is a parametric statistical test using multiple linear regression analysis and the help of SPSS 22 for windows software. The independent variables consist of occupational health (X1) and work safety (X2), while the dependent variable is performance (Y). Instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables X1 and X2 together have a positive and significant effect on technician performance with a value greater than r table = 0.361. Furthermore, the multiple linear regression test shows that the work safety variable (X1) and occupational health variable (X2) have a significant influence on the performance of the go-kart buggy manufacturing team.
