Abstract

Retention activity at Puskesmas Jenggawah was carried out manually by using books to record files to be retained. The book was easily lost or tucked away, it made the officer difficult to find the patient medical records if needed. As a result, the process of searching took a long time and less effective. This study aims to design and creates an outpatient medical record retention information system at Puskesmas Jenggawah that produce retention reports, preservation reports, and destruction reports. This type of the research was a system development with the RAD method and uses qualitative data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, documentation, and brainstorming. The stages of the RAD method includes requirements planning, workshop design, and implementation. The result of this study is an outpatient medical record retention information system that makes it easier for officers to carry out retention activity at Puskesmas Jenggawah.
