Abstract
This research shows the performance of layers in Balung District, Jember Regency after Antibiotic Growth Promoters (AGP) in feed and the effect of Feed Consumption, Egg Weight, Feed Egg Ratio (FER), Mortality on Hen Day Production (HDP). This research was conducted by surveying 13 poultry farmers. The data was analyzed using Normality Testing, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, T-testing, F-testing and Determination Testing. The result of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis obtained an equation of Y = 117,099 – 0,395X1 + 1,163X2 – 21,588X3 + 9,420X4. This means that Y (HDP) is affected by Feed Consumption (X1) of -0,395, Egg Weight (X2) of 1,163, FER (X3) of -21,588 and Mortality (X4) of 9,420. The result of the Determination Test shows an R2 amount of 0,853. The result of the F-test shows that the probability value amount of 0.000, which means that all independent variables (X) are significant concurrently on dependent variables (Y). The result of the T-test shows that Feed Consumption, Egg Weight and FER are significant on HDP. However, Mortality is non significant on HDP. The performance of layers after AGP prohibition in feed shows that Egg Weight and HDP are decreased; however Feed Consumption, FER and Mortality are increased.
