Abstract
The level of books borrowed from 2017 to 2018 has decreased by 34.70%. For that, with the right procurement of books, the level of book borrowers can increase. This research aims to build a book forecasting application to assist officers in conducting the procurement of books appropriately by looking at the tendency of borrowing books. By using a forecasting system, it produces an optimal book procurement forecast value using the double exponential smoothing method which has the smallest error rate value by using a constant value of 0,511.
