Abstract

This research study about the audit process and energy conservation in buildings in order to improve the efficiency of the use of electric energy as well as provide recommendations for savings which can be done by the Ar-Rahman Raudlatul Foundation Hujjaj Jember. Time implementation begins in June 2017 until July 2017. Tools used in this research include: Lux meter, i.e. time logger tool, tape measure, calculators, laptop, and stationery. Form data used quantitative Data and qualitative Data in the form of Study literature and Interview. Data that has been retrieved, then found a Total of IKE (intensity of energy consumption) of 17912.016 kWh/year, and is very efficient because the conditions of the standard IKE Foundation. The highest energy consumption i.e. 97% of electrical energy at a cost of Rp 53 654,400. Savings opportunities that can be done is to replace lamp PLC to LED lights that will save costs up to Rp. 24.591.600.
