Abstract

The medical record unit has a patient reception system, a medical record file management system, and a statistic system. Based on an initial study in Puskesmas Kaliwates Jember, there are some existing problems which can’t be determined about which one to be finished first by them. The aim of this research is to determine the problem priority of the medical record working unit by using Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth methods in Puskesmas Kaliwates Jember. The subject of this research is 3 coding officer, outpatient registration and filling officers, and 2 inpatient registration officers. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research, the instrument used consist of observation, interview, and brainstorming. Results obtained from this research is the first prioritized thing which is the occurrence of a medical record number duplication in the patient registration, so that the Patient Registration Unit determines an effort to hold a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) evaluation based on the working environment condition in Puskesmas Kaliwates.
