Abstract

This study aimed to study the effect of shoot pruning age and fruit count treatment on the producilon and capacity of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) Seeds. The reasearch was conducted in PT. Wira Agro Nusantara Sejahtera (125 MDPL), Pare, Kediri from August to November 2019. This study uses randomized block design (RBD) with two factors and three replications. The first factor was the age of shoot trimming comprising three levels, without cutting the shoots (PO), cutting the shoots at 21 DAS (P1), and 28 DAS (P2). The second factor is the number of fruits per crop, comprising three levels, 3 fruits per crop (BI), 5 Jruits per crop (B2), and 7 fruits per crop (B3). It showed that the best shoot pruning age Ireatment was at 21 DAS (P1) which had a significant effect on the limits of fruit weight per plot (11.5 kg), sample fruit weighi (1.138.2 grams), fruit diameter (5, 3 cm), fruit length (25.6 cm), sample dry seed weight (6.9 grams), and germination capacity (92.916) and were not different from weight limits af 100 items, concurrent growth (KST), and growth rate (KCT). The best number af fruit treatment was in the number of '3 fruit per plant (BI) which had a significant effect on the limits of the sample fruit weight (937.9 grams), fruit diameter (54 cm), and dry seed weight per sample (7.0 grams).), and weighs 100 grains (3.6 grams).
