Abstract

Technology development is growing quite rapidly, and the automotive world is no exception. Almost all the latest vehicles are equipped with safety technology that helps the driver when parking to avoid collision s with obstacles around the car, especially at night. However, in general, cars manufactured under the year 2000 do not have safety technology such as parking sensors. The technology requires parking sensors that must be installed manually in the car. Based on these problems, a safety system that can be used with good is needed. Therefore, in this paper, a microcontroller-based parking system with commercial and more reliable electronic components including JSN-SR04T proximity sensor, DF-Player, Arduino Uno, 16x2 LCD, Speaker is made. The evaluation results show that the parking aid can work well and in accordance with the needs. The use of the JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensor and Arduino Uno can produce distance measurement accuracy up to 99%. In addition, the precision value in the flat field for the right and left sensors reaches 98%, while the precision value in the wave field for the right and left sensors reaches 98%.
