Abstract

The lack of information about morphological symptoms of nutrient deficiency resulting in mismanage by farmers so that seedlings cannot grow optimally. This research aims to identify the morphologocial 2 varieties of arabica coffea seed on nutrient deficiency. This research was condcuted in September 2018 to April 2019 at Greenhouse of Indonesian Coffea and Cocoa Research Institute. This research was applied Completely Randomized Design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was application of fertilizer by nutrient reduction consisted 7 levels, complete nutrient (P1), with no N nutrient (P2), with no P nutrient (P3), with no K nutrient (P4), with no Ca nutrient (P5), with no Mg nutrient (P6), and with no S nutrient (P7). The second factor was Varieties consisted 2 levels, Andungsari 1 Varieties (V1) and Komasti Varieties (V2). The data was analyzed by using f Test (ANOVA) and followed by DMRT 5%. The result of this research shows that the nutrient reduction and varieties are significant for all parameters. Application of complete nurtrient has value of seedling diameter of 6,06 mm, number of leaves of 44,67, thickness of leaf of 0,42 mm and chlorophyll content of 53,15. Andungsari 1 Varieties (V1) has height of plant of 38,57 cm, diameter of 6,17 mm, number of segments of 12,95, thickness of leaf of 0,34 cm and chlorophyll content of 48,96. The interaction between complete nutrient and Andungsari 1 Varieties (P1V1) has height of plant of 47,33 cm, diameter of 6,68 mm, number of segments of 14,33 and thickness of leaf of 0,64 mm.
