Abstract

This research aims to determine the amount of production, revenue, and income from hybrid Bitter Melon seed production per hectare and the amount of R/C of hybrid Bitter Melon seed production per hectare in one production. The study was conducted for 4 months from September 2018 to December 2018. This research uses agricultural analysis, where sample collection techniques use primary data and secondary data. The results of this study show that the production of Bitter Melon seed conducted in State Polytechnic of Jember is worth working on and developed again, because it can produce R/C ratio of 1.32, where every cost incurred Rp.100, at the beginning of the production of hybrid Bitter Melon seed production will get an acceptance of Rp.132 with income of Rp.32, with the meaning of farming the production of hybrid Bitter Melon seed efficiently or worth working on. The cost of production of hybrid Bitter Melon seeds in one hectare amounted to Rp.109,259,877, receiving Rp. 144,729,400, with a net income of Rp. 35,469,523 from hybrid seed production farming per hectare in one growing season.
