Abstract

Energy saving to reduce wastage of electrical energy and costs. This is also in accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 10 of 2005, regarding energy saving to make it more efficient. This research was conducted to analyze the lighting and air conditioning system at Telkom Plasa Jember Office and energy saving opportunities that can be implemented at Telkom Plasa Jember Office. The method used in this study includes several stages, starting from collecting secondary data including laying out buildings according to the construction implementation and calculating IKE values. Primary data collection includes data on measuring energy audits directly in the field. As well as analyzing the energy saving opportunities obtained. The IKE value for electricity of 3.26 kWh / m2 / month shows that the use of electrical energy at the Telkom Plasa Jember Office is classified as very efficient if sulking at the IKE standard in the air-conditioned building category. The lighting system and artificial air conditioning system for the lighting system are not in accordance with SNI standards while the temperature and humidity of the room are in accordance with SNI standards. The total power per month is 107,337 kWh so that energy saving opportunities that can be done at the Telkom Plasa Jember Office are the habits of employees if there is a room not used it is better to turn off the lights, it could also be employees who are on the 4th floor and 6th floor in an effort to save energy better moved to the 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor or install PLTS on grid.
