Abstract
The medical record unit is one of the health support units in the hospital. One unit of medical records is filling. Based on observations, the filling room at Kaliwates Hospital Jember is still not ergonomic. The room is quite narrow because the arrangement of the shelves is not suitable and the condition of the shelves has not been adjusted to the anthropometry of the officers.The facilities also inadequate, there is 1 small table, 1 wooden chair and 1 office chair. The officers complained about the lighting conditions and the room temperature quite hot. The purpose of this study is to analyze the filling room and the anthropometry of the officers, and the availability of facilities in the filling room. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques through the results of interviews, documentation, observation and brainstorming. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to modify the shelves and the layout of the shelves as well as the addition of infrastructure that supports the work of the officers so that the room becomes ergonomic in accordance with applicable standards or theories. The design of filling room and the shelves using the Sketch up application.
