Abstract

Banana is a very abundant commodity, especially in Lumajang area. Utilization of bananas is generally limited to the flesh alone, while the skin is removed and become organic waste or used as animal feed. The amount of banana peel that is quite a lot of waste making chips and banana sale, will be profitable if used as raw materials for food. Community Service performed in UKM "Kripik Bintang Sembilan", Senduro, Lumajang. This devotion is carried out in September 2017 until December 2017. The targets of this Community Service program are: To create and introduce the stages of manufacture of semi-finished products and derivative products. Develop and improve the production process technology system of various banana processed products so as to ensure the sustainability of the business and can increase the income of the surrounding community.This type of Community Service activities are: Guidance and Counseling, Semi-finished Product Training (Flour) and pilot package of various processed products from banana flour. The results obtained from this Devotional Activity is a package of technology making various foods from banana peel flour as a healthy food and making various processed food products that are ready to be marketed.
