Abstract

Seed represent one of the primary factors becoming determinants of efficacy in agriculture. Mixture of other varieties and decline of production about 2.6% every generation of agriculture represent the effect of usage less controlled seed. Usage of certifiable seed can avoid failure in conducting because it’s freeing from pest attack and seed diseases, grow well at maximum condition of farm. Method of data analyzes use 3-Sigma using X bar chart, R chart for data that having character which can measures in appliance and the percentage. It also used p chart for data that having character of attributes. Control chart use to represent graph change of quality at specified period, there are boundaries conduct expressing process in control or not and determined with value of capability process. Pursuant to X bar chart and R chart of seed purity’s data, there was no dot which out of controlled so that can be said that production process reside in statistical control with value of Cp equal to 2.08. Pursuant to X bar chart and R chart of moisture data, there was no dot which out of controlled, that can be said that production process reside in statistical control with value of Cp equal to 0.64. While p chart of germination, there’s no dot which out of controlled so that can be said that production process reside in statistical control with value of Cp equal to 0.94. So there have to be require and corrective action and controlling to tomato hybrid seed production process.
