Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the role of LEPP- M3 Nusa Barong cooperation in developing productive economic activities of the Mojomulyo villagers society (2) identify any obstacles that faced by LEPP- M3 Nusa Barong cooperation in developing productive economic activities Mojomulyo villagers society. This research is classified as descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in the study determined purposive sampling and data obtained through data collection methods include: observation, interview methods (interview), the method of documentation. The role of LEPP-M3 Nusa Barong cooperation against the development of the productive economy Mojomulyo villagers can be seen from the efforts carried out by the cooperative, including; Productive Economy Fund distribution to the public, strengthening of capital through partnerships with banks, coaching and mentoring, providing market information, providing easy access to the coastal communities in capitalization, the establishment of a coastal store shopping units. While the obstacles faced LEPP-M3 Nusa Barong cooperation in developing productive economic activities Mojomulyo villagers society, among others; limitations in the supply cooperative capitalization, lack of awareness of fishermen in the use of funds provided and use it for anything outside the fishery, the presence of other financial institutions as competitors.
