Abstract
Research on “Application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer on The Production of Seed Corn (Zea mays L.) Bisma Varieties.”. The research was conducted in state Polytechnic of Jember from August up to November 2014. This study aims to determine the concentration and the fertilizing time interval of liquid organic fertilizer for seed production of corn. This research use of randomized block design (RBD) factorial with 2 factors. first factor is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer 0.2% (N1), 0.4% (N2) and 0.6% (N3). The second factor is the fertilizing time interval 10 days (I1), 15 days (I2), and 20 days (I3). the data analysis use the formula of F test (ANOVA) and continued by DMRT calculation with 5% and 1% standart error. The results showed that the treatment concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) had no significant effect to all parameters of observation. Treatment intervals of spraying also no real effect to all parameters except observations at intervals of 10 days showed the best results on the number of seeds is 379.963 seeds and the seed dry weight is 111.49 grams. Interaction concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and the spraying time interval had no significant effect to all parameters of observation.
