Abstract

Refund medical record document is a system that is quite important in the medical records, as refund medical record document of the document begins in patient’s room care until medical record document back to the medical records accordance with the policy 2x24 hours. Based on observations and interviews obtained some problems of the refund of medical records document, where there is a delay to refund the document in January 63.5%, 69.2% in February, 67.7% in March 2014. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relation of the nurse's predisiposisi factor’s and delay refund inpatient document to medical records unit. This type of this study is quantitative descriptive cross-sectional approach. the kind of the sample used for nurses is a total sampling method which totaled 24 nurses, and sample for document using calculations with Slovin Method which totaled 213 documents. Results of this study is there’re two variables are related, knowledge and behaviour. Where any relation of the knowledge that p value 0.000 <0.05 and τ 0.429. whereas for behaviour p value 0.035 and τ -0.136. P value 0.143 for age and p value 0,352 for sex. The suggestion of this study are needed to increase the knowledge of nurses about procedures and standards of refund medical record documents in order to nurse or other medical employee who understand the importance of the accuracy of the refund of medical record documents, needed to hold seminars and training about medical records and reward or punishment.
