Abstract

Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) is one of the agricultural crops that has high economic value. One way to accelerate the growth of vanilla is by adding additional nutrients. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the effect of giving cow urine bio on the growth of one segment of vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) cuttings. The research was conducted at the Jember State Polytechnic Wire House, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency in September 2022-January 2023. The study was arranged using a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) where the bio-urine treatment used concentration (K), namely K0 (control), K1 5% , K2 10%, K3 15% and K4 20%. Research data were analyzed using the F test with a level of 1% and 5%. If the results are significantly different, then it is further tested using BNJ (Honest Significant Difference). The research gave highly significant different results on the length of the tuna, and the results were not significantly different on the variables of live percentage, number of segments, stem diameter, number of leaves, root length and fresh weight.
