Abstract

The activities of borrowing and returning the medical record file are still manual, that is still using manual recording books in the form of expedition books. The return of the file is also still not coordinated properly because the medical record file that has been borrowed is often lost and scattered. At the Community Health Centers there are also no traces or tracers of borrowers (tracer) so officers find it difficult to find out the purpose of using the file and the deadline when the file must return. This study aims to design and build a loan information system and the completeness of the return from web-based medical record files with WhatsApp notifications at the Padang Lumajang Community Health Centers that produces a loan report and the completeness of the return of outpatient and inpa- tient medical record files. This type of research uses the Research and Develop- ment method using the prototype system development method. Data collection techniques that are being used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The stages of the process of developing the prototype system include the analysis of the need of the user, making prototypes, adjusting to the prototypes with the desire of users, making new systems, testing the system, adjusting to the desire of the user, and using the system. The results from this study are borrowers’ infor- mation systems and the completeness of the return of a web-based medical record file that facilitates the process of borrowing and completeness of the medical rec- ord file.
