Abstract

The high number of people with diabetes mellitus in Puskesmas Panarukan and the easy with which diabetes mellitus develops into a complication that can affect almost all human body systems, from the skin to the heart. The purpose of this research is to design and make a rapid and accurate application of early detection of diabetes mellitus web-based complications using the waterfall system development method and the Dempster-shafer method. Data retrieval is done by interviews, observations, and documentation conducted to doctors and information systems and database officers. The results of this research are the application of early detection of diabetes mellitus web-based complications in Puskesmas Panarukan which is expected to be useful and make it easier for officers or doctors in determining the complications of diabetes mellitus. Suggestions for further research in order to make the report section in this application better is to illustrate a map of the area of disease.
