Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of bean sprout extract on the growth of sugar cane varieties VMC 86-550 and PS-881 using the Budchips method. This research was conducted from February to April 2022 in the Tempurejo area, Jember City. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with the first factor being the concentration of growth regulators of bean sprouts extract and the second factor being differences in varieties of bean sprouts extract concentrations of giving growth regulators, there were 8 treatment combinations and 3 replications. The concentration factors of growth regulators of bean sprout extract consist of 50gr/liter, 100gr/liter, 150gr/liter. The research data were analyzed using the F test with a level of 5% and 1%. If the results are significantly different, then a further test is carried out using BNJ (Honest Significant Difference). This study gave highly significant different results on plant height and number of leaves.
