Abstract

Spaces and infrastructure in RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember are still not in accordance with the standards of class C hospitals. Inadequate room and infrastructure conditions result in the performance of officers being disturbed and easily tired at work. Based on these problems required the design of space and infrastructure based on anthropometry of medical records officers using the sweet home 3D space design application. The purpose of this study is to design the space and infrastructure based on the anthropometry of the medical records officer at Srikandi IBI Jember Hospital. The method in this study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques interview, observation and brainstorming. The design of the new medical records room consists of registration room, medical records work room, headroom of medical record unit, filing room and bathroom. The design of facilities and infrastructure adjusted to the anthropometry of the officers consisted of tables, chairs, computers and filing racks. The new spatial and infrastructure design were expected to create an effective, safe, efficient and comfortable workspace, as well as the addition of facilities and infrastructure to support the work of officers. Suggestions for RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember to create two registration counters, adjust the medical records workspace according to the anthropometric standards of the officer, and make facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the anthropometric data of the officers.
