Abstract

Medical records are useful in the identification of patients used in the determination of the diagnosis and to explain the main reasons for the patient receiving health services. A medical resume is part of a form in the medical records that contains a summary of all services received by the patient by health workers. The medical resume must be filled out completely, concisely, and clearly and contain the name and signature of the doctor in charge, and be able to provide important information about the disease, the examination carried out, and the actions or treatment obtained. The electronic medical record system that is run must not be integrated with the electronic medical record system of other health care facilities, but must still be able to interconnectivity with other electronic medical record systems. Current electronic medical records can help in patient care, the patient's previous medical history is crucial in determining a holistic and continuous patient treatment plan. It is not uncommon for patients to have to undergo various examinations from the beginning again because of the unavailability of health data first. Development is also needed for an electronic medical record system that can support the exchange of patient medical resume data between hospitals using web services so that it can support the continuity of information and clinical data in medical records. The purpose of this study was to Design a Web Service as A Medical Resume Provider Using a RESTful API. The result of this study is a medical resume provider web service application with a RESTful API using a waterfall system development method to exchange information securely over the internet. The user of the medical resume provider web service application is each of the registered hospitals.
