Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is an act or behavior that deviates from the norms carried out by adolescents aged 13 years (Junior High School) to 18 years of age who are in a transition period from childhood to adulthood. As the actions of these adolescents often cause unrest in the community, disregarding will cause an increasingly severe impact both on the adolescents themselves and the surrounding community. This study aims to develop A Web-Based Junior High School Juvenile Delinquency Management Expert System using Bayes’ Theorem Method, to have expert knowledge and a procedural diagnosis process to diagnose symptoms like an expert and provide solutions to diagnostic results. After testing the black box, the results show that the system can run according to the expected scenario. To test the system accuracy of 80%, 80% precision, 80% recall, which means that this expert system is appropriate in diagnosing juvenile delinquency.
