Abstract

Research of pile up and seedsnumber per hole aims to know the yield of peanut crop production. The research was held in October 2019-January 2020 in Sempolan village, Silo District, Jember. This study was conducted ina Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was pile up type that is Ground (P0), Straw (P1) and Ground with Straw (P2) and the second factor consists of a number of seeds per hole that is 2 seeds per hole (D0), 4 seeds per hole (D1) and 6 seeds per hole. The data is analyzed by using Analysis Variants (ANOVA) and continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT).The analysis results showed that the pile up (P) and seedsper hole (D) is not significant (ns) and interaction pile up (P) and seeds per hole (D) showed significant (*) to the number of pithy pods per sample, wet pods weight per sample, wet pods weight perplot, dry pods weight per sample, dry pods weight per plot, dry seeds weight per sample, and dry seed weight per plot.
