Abstract

Sengon (Albizia falcataria L.) is an annual plant that has a high economic value. Nursery media for sengon plant nurseries using top soil, sand, and manure. Nitrogen is the main component of many important substances in plants. This research was conducted from November 2019 to January 2020 in the Jember State Polytechnic plantation land. This research was conducted using a factorial randomized block design (RBD). The treatment given was a ratio of planting media consisting of 3 levels, namely M1 = 1: 1 (top soil: manure), M2 = 1: 2 (top soil: manure), and M3 = 2 : 1 (top soil: manure), while the dose of urea fertilizer consists of 3 levels, namely N0 = 0 grams of urea / plant, N1 = 1 gram of urea / plant, and N2 = 2 grams of urea / plant. Results The research showed that the combined effect of the composition of the planting medium and the dose of urea fertilizer and the composition of the planting medium had no significant effect on all parameters. The addition of urea had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, and length with the best average dose of 2 grams / plant, and had no significant effect on stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight.
