Abstract
Fuel oil (BBM) is the main source in the use of motorized vehicles. The phenomenon that occurs today is the increasing fuel consumption among the community, both urban and rural communities. Development of adequate infrastructure and also more choices of vehicle variations have resulted in people's lifestyles having changed to more modern patterns. Some behaviors that have changed are like starting to use private vehicles compared to public transportation. The increasing number of private vehicle owners causes many impacts that can be felt such as traffic jams, air pollution and also the most crucial is the excessive use of fuel. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of fuel consumption in motor vehicles, find out the relationship between the level of fuel consumption with driving behavior The object of this study is the level of fuel consumption of motorist behavior. The method used is the existence of pre and post education tests on motorists. The results of research obtained by researchers are that there is a relationship between the level of fuel consumption before it is done and after education with the level of savings can reach 25 Km / L obtained with rpm above 2500 -3000 with an average speed of 62.5 Km / Hour
