Abstract
SMAN 4 Jember is one of the high schools in Jember Regency which currently has 2 majors, namely Science and Social Sciences. The majors of students at SMAN 4 Jember are determined by the BK teacher based on the interests of the students, 6 semesters report cards, and the results of the TPA. The determination of the majors carried out by the BK teacher is done by looking at the score data of all students first and then it will be matched with the student's interests, for example, if the student's score is dominant in the science department but the student's interest in social studies is then the student will be entered into the science department temporarily. within 1 month, if during that time the student feels there is no need to change majors, the student will remain in the science department, The decision support system for determining majors in high school using the Fuzzy Mamdani method was built to assist schools in making it easier to determine majors. The criteria used are student academic scores, student interests, and academic potential test results
