Abstract

Making a Booklet of Ijen View Hotel Resort & Resto Bondowoso, Bahauddin Ibnu Mubaroq, NIM F31170376, 2022, 61 pages, Language, Communication and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Nanik Mariyati, S.Pd., M.Pd as a Supervisor Bondowoso is one of region in East Java that provide many wonderful tourism objects.There are Ijen Crater, Kawah Wurung, Jabal Kirmit, Jampit Plantation, Solor Megalithic Stone and many more. In order to give best services to the visitors, the government should provide accomodation in the form of transportations, restaurants, and hotels. One of the hotel that is often visited by foreign and local visitors is Ijen View Hotel Resort & Resto Bondowoso. Ijen View Hotel Resort & Resto Bondowoso is one of the most popular hotel in Bondowoso and it is three stars hotel that is famous in Bondowoso. This hotel is located in KIS. Mangunsarkoso 888 street, Tamansari Village, Bondowoso district. This hotel was established in 2005 and it has 65 rooms with facilities like restaurant with bar, restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, swimming pool, wi-fi and room service. This project was made because Ijen View Hotel Resort & Resto need more promotional media instead of brochure and website. The writer decided to make a booklet because it is easy to made and brought, and also give the complete information about Ijen View Hotel Resort & Resto. In making this final project, the writer collected the data to complete his final project. The writer did interview, observation, documents and audiovisual materials. The title of the booklet is Ijen View Hotel Resort & Resto Bondowoso. This booklet consist of three parts. First part is introduction that contains of foreword, table of content, overview and history. Second part is main content that contains of room type, room rate, and facilities. Last part is closing that contains of costumers testimonial, achievements, contact person and map of location of the hotel. This booklet was written in billingual version, English and Indonesian. The size of the booklet is A5 paper size with 28 pages in landscape orientation. It was edited and designed by hired the editor. The writer adapted five steps from Irawati (2015) in Webyansyah (2018) they are prewriting, drafting, proofreading, revising, and publishing. The writer faced some difficulties in doing the final project, for example when writing the script of the booklet. Basically the writer needed to concern about how to write a good and informative script in appropriate grammar. Besides that, he also needed to determine proper words for the script of the booklet.
