Abstract

Mustard (Brassica chinensis L.) is part of vegetable horticultural plants where the leaves can be used, mustard leaves as vegetable food have various benefits in society. This research was carried out on the land of PT WIRANUSA Kediri. The experimental design in this study used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the type of mulch which consists of 3 levels, namely (M1) without mulch, M2 straw mulch, M3 silver white plastic mulch. The second factor is manure which consists of 3 levels, namely K1 cow manure, K2 goat manure, K3 chicken manure. Data analysis using the f test formula (ANNOVA) and further testing using Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with an error level of 5%. The results showed that the mulch application treatment had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height at 35 DAP (M3=50.99 cm), number of leaves at 35 DAP (M3=24.39 strands), leaf width at 35 DAP (M3=19, 07 cm), leaf length at 35 DAP (M3=27.59 cm), number of pods per bunch (M3=39.11 pods) and seed weight per plot (M3=65 gr). The application treatment of manure (K3) had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height at 35 DAP (K3=49.84 cm), number of leaves at 35 DAP (K3=25.45 strands), leaf width at 35 DAP (K3=18, 96 cm), leaf length at 35 DAP (K3=25.42 cm), and seed weight per plot (K3=61 g). The interaction between the application of mulch and growmore fertilizer had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height at 35 DAP (M3K3=54.13 cm), number of leaves at 35 DAP (M3K3=22.45 strands), leaf width at 35 DAP (K3=21.46). cm), and seed weight per plot (M3K3=69 gr).
