Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a significant increase in the number of patients in hospitals. This causes the full capacity of the hospital which allows the risk of distribution between patients is very high. The ratio of the need for hospital beds is a government service in overcoming the Covid-19 response because treatment is carried out in hospitals. Hospital statistics have an important role in breaking the chain of Covid-19 spread which aims to determine the quality of services, the number of inpatients, unite patient services, and calculate indicators of BOR (Bed Occupation Rate), LOS (Length of Stay), and TOI (Turn). more than intervals). The research method is the literature review method. Overall a research study with article selection using Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Portal Garuda databases. The article discussing strategies in prevention in breaking the chain of the spread of Covid-19 received 11 articles from 26 articles. The purpose of this study is to review health statistics during a pandemic in breaking the chain of spread of Covid-19. The results of the study resulted in a strategy to prevent the spread of Covid-19, a comparison of Covid-19 prevention strategies in various countries around the world, and hospital BOR during a pandemic in Indonesia. Prevention can be done by keeping a distance, wearing masks, washing hands, screening and treatment according to WHO directives. Prevention in European countries and the US by implementing a health emergency system for African countries and parts of Asia by implementing prokes and providing direct cash assistance. The value of BOR, LOS, TOI in hospitals during the pandemic is not efficient which has an impact on hospital income
