Abstract

Robusta coffee plant (Coffea canephora L.) is a commodity that is one of the mainstay contributors in the plantation sector and is one of the contributors to the country's foreign exchange. Where the main product used from the coffee plant is coffee beans. Moreover, in coffee breeding, the availability is still lacking due to higher demand from year to year. Therefore, this study aims to determine the success of growing Robusta coffee by segment cuttings with the addition of natural growth regulators, namely onion extract with young coconut water. This study consisted of A1 cuttings without treatment (control), A2 cuttings with young coconut water with a concentration of 250 ml/l, A3 cuttings with young coconut water at a concentration of 450 ml/l, A4 cuttings with young coconut water with a concentration of 650 ml/l, A5 cuttings without Treatment, A6 Cuttings with shallot extract 250 ml/l, A7 Cuttings with shallot extract 450 ml/l, A8 Cuttings with shallot extract 650 ml/l. The results of this study showed that the administration of shallot extract with a concentration of 450 ml/l had a significant effect on the wet weight of roots and dry weight of roots, while the treatment of young coconut water PGR had a significant effect on shoot height and number of leaves.
