Abstract

One factor that cause decreasing of soybean production is disease attack that caused by Riptortus linearis. In this experiment, we studied controlling pod-sucking pests in soybean using pesticide extracted from soursop leaves (Annona muricata). The aim of this study was to determine the effect of pesticide extract on the intensity of pods and pods. This research was carried out from January 2018 to April 2018 at Yosowilangun District, Lumajang. The experimental design used was a non factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 5 treatments, namely P0 (Deltamethrinl), and soursop leaf extract with concentration: P1 (10%), P2 (30%), P3 (60%) and P4 (90%) with 5 replications. The results showed that the 5 treatments had a significant effect on the intensity of the attack aged 63 DAP and were not significantly different in the intensity of attack at the aged 56 DAP, 70 DAP, 77 DAP and pod weight parameter. The intensity of pod-sucking pest attack is negatively correlated with pod weight.
