Abstract

The average yield of edamame soybeans in Indonesia is less than optimal, namely 3.5 tons/ha while the potential harvest reaches 5-6 tons/ ha. One of the efforts to increase edamame soybean production by applying lemuru fish POC, this study aims to analyze how the response of edamame soybean plants to the application of lemuru fish POC and analyze what is the best concentration on the growth and production of edamame soybeans. This research was conducted in the Land of Jember State Polytechnic, research using complete random design ( RAL) non factorial, consisting of 6 levels (P0 : 0 ml/l ; P1 : 2 ml/l ; P2 : 4 ml/l ; P3 : 6 ml/l ; P4 : 8 ml/l ; P5 :10 ml/1 ). Analysis of the data used is ANOVA and then carried out further tests using Dunnett's further test with a level of 1%, the results showed that the treatment concentration of 10 ml/l of water is the concentration that has the greatest influence on plant height when the plants were 14 (23.08 cm), 21 (32.04 cm), and 65 HST (42.62 cm), the number of productive branches (11.63), trunk diameter (8.74 mm), Weight of sampling pods (90 g), fresh plant biomass (132 g).
