Abstract

The registration system of the Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA) Bunda is currently still manual by using a registration sheet which is then recapitulated back into the patient visit data book, with a manual system like the one that exists now, will make it difficult for officers, especially the reporting department, who have to move patient visit data back from the book to excel. The problem found by the researcher is the inefficiency of the registration system that is currently running, so that it will result in reporting patient visits and also unclear data read based on the results of the researcher's interview, if using writing from a pen in the visit data book. The system used should be a system that can facilitate the process of service to patients so that data can be processed properly and accurately. The purpose of this study was to create a patient registration system at RSIA Bunda. This study uses the waterfall method to create a patient registration system at RSIA Bunda. In the waterfall method, there were four stages, including analyzing information system requirements, making information system designs, implementing and testing the information systems. The data of this study was collected through an interview and an observation. The process of designing this system used a Flowchart System, a Context Diagram, a Data Flow Diagram, and an Entity Relationship Diagram. The result of this study is an information system for outpatient and inpatient registration, making it easier for officers to carry out services, KIB that can be printed immediately, and printing hospital visit reports, thereby facilitating services to be more effective and efficient and minimizing data input errors.
