Abstract

Data security issues are becoming increasingly serious as the trend of data theft is increasing. In Indonesia, cases of theft of health data are not new. In 2020, data on 230 thousand COVID-19 patients in Indonesia is suspected to have been stolen and sold. This causes not only material losses but also psychological victims. The purpose of this study was to find out how the security of patient data information is viewed from the aspect of information security. The results showed that from 20 articles that were reviewed discussing the security of patient data in terms of several security aspects, most of the privacy aspects were applied by the use of usernames and passwords, the integrity aspect was applied by changing or deleting data by the administrator, the authentication aspect was applied by the presence of a signature. electronics and PIN usage, Availability aspect is proven by using data back up process to anticipate patient data hacking, access control aspect is restricted access rights by using user id & password for each user, Non-repudiation aspect is implemented by log file. Overall, health facilities basically have carries out data security on the information systems they use, but in practice there are still health facilities that do not fully meet the data security aspect or are not optimal in using the techniques uses. System managers need to develop techniques or ways to secure data more optimally that can fulfill 6 aspects of information security in electronic medical records.
