Abstract

The washing machine is a household electronic device that has an important role in helping make work easier. There are many brands of washing machines on the market such as Polytron, Sharp, LG, Denpoo, Samsung and more. A twin tube washing machine or also called a 2 tube washing machine is a washing machine that has 2 tubes where the washing and drying processes have separate tubes. An expert system is a system that uses knowledge of the mind or human intelligence where it is entered into a computer, then used to solve a problem that is usually solved by humans. In this study, the authors design and manufacture a system that will make it easier for users to diagnose washing machine damage according to the selected symptoms. The result of this research is a washing machine damage detection system which in testing the system accuracy level reaches 100%.
