Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) has a fairly good nutritional value because this fruit is a source of minerals and vitamins, the need for cucumbers tends to continue to increase in line with the increasing population, standard of living, level of education, and public awareness about the importance of nutritional value. The research was carried out in October 2021 - December 2021 on the R&D land of PT. Wiranusa Kediri. The study used a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of two factors repeated 3 times. The first factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer 16-16-16 (D) 200 kg / ha (D1), 280 kg / ha (D2), and 360 kg / ha (D3). The second factor is the number of fruits/plants (B) 3 pieces/plant (B1), 4 fruits/plants (B2), and 5 fruits/plants (B3). The observation data were tested using ANOVA and DMRT at a level of 5%. The application treatment of NPK fertilizer doses of 16-16-16 had a very noticeable effect on fruit/plant weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, seed/fruit weight, and seed production/hectare and differed markedly on the weight of 1000 grains. The treatment of the number of fruits/plants has a marked effect on the length of the fruit, the diameter of the fruit, and the very real difference in seed production parameters/hectares. The implementation of a fertilizer dose of 360 Kg / ha (D3) gave the best results on fruit / plant weight (583.69 grams), fruit length (12.44 cm), fruit diameter (5.94 cm), seed / fruit weight (2.88 grams), weight 1000 grains (17.3 grams), and seed production / hectare (270.71 kg). The treatment of 3 number of fruits (B1) gave the best results on fruit length (12.48 cm), fruit diameter (5.84 cm), seed production / hectare (264.63 kg), while on fruit / plant weight, the weight of the seed of the dairy, the weight of 1000 eggs. The parameters of germination power and growing speed have no effect on each treatment. The interaction between the treatments gives no effect on all observation parameters on cucumber crops.
